Greek (Elysian) yogourt was first introduced in Quebec in 1964. Our father, who immigrated from Greece in the early 1960's, was fortunate to have met an angel investor, who made the family business possible. Demetra Products started with Greek Yogourt and then expanded from there to include organic Rizogalo (Greek rice pudding), Kefalotiri (Greek hard cheese) and the full line of Canadian cheddar cheeses.
